Information You Submit
Text entered in a search form, such as a name, telephone number, or address, goes to the third-party provider serving the results. Our servers do not retain a separate copy of those queries. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to address the message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary logs containing an IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps. Aggregate review helps us maintain the service and see which Davis County resources visitors use. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where they apply.
How We Use Information
These limited records support site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and content updates. We do not create individual visitor profiles or sell a visitor list.
Privacy on Linked Services

Safeguarding Visitor Data
An encrypted connection protects data in transit. Server logs are retained only as long as their stated purposes require. Since there are no visitor accounts, Davis County People Search holds no user password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
The service is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if a minor appears to have submitted such information so it can be deleted.

Government records held by Davis County, its cities, Utah agencies, or courts remain outside our control, so correction or restriction requests for those records must go to the custodian under the law governing that source.
